Cisco's Flip Camcorders Bite the Dust

Cisco announced that it will shut down the Flip video camera line as part of a restructuring of its consumer business. In addition to killing the Flip, Cisco will focus its umi video conferencing products on the enterprise, but will continue to sell home Internet routers in retail stores. Google said during the company's earnings call on Thursday that more than 3 billion apps have been installed from the Android Market so far, and around 350,000 smartphones are activated every day.
